All loaves that are preordered here at For the Love of Sourdough are made fresh in house that morning! When you receive your loaf, it will need time to rest prior to storing (2-3 hours after you receive it).
I would first recommend that you pre-slice your sourdough bread when you receive it. We do offer this option to make it easy for you with our Slice and Bundling option.
From there, wrap your sourdough bread in a cotton towel and place into a bread bag, pillow case, bread box or container with a lid.
Sourdough bread is best fresh so anything you do not plan to enjoy within the first 2-3 days is best to freeze. Take out your pre-sliced bread and reheat to your liking in a toaster oven or oven.
I hope you enjoy your loaves of love and thank you for supporting our microbakery in the desert! -Nicole
