I blend my flours with several types during the process of sourdough baking. Our organic sourdough starter (Mr. Bubbles) used for baking is fed with an 100% organic whole wheat flour from Great River Organic Millers. Our Einkorn loaves are made with an Idaho stone-milled organic einkorn flour and a Lily White Bread Flour from Great River Stone Millers. All flours are vegan and dairy free! We also offer a gluten free sourdough that is made with a rice flour blend from Bob's Red Mill, organic psyllium husk, organic extra virgin olive oil, pink salt, organic maple and water.
I did! I started Mr. Bubbles (our organic starter) back in October of 2020 by simply mixing organic flour and water on repeat for the course of about 2 months until activity and robustness was achieved. It is a delicate process of ensuring he is fed daily to maintain flavor in each loaf and rise of your dough. He is a wild sourdough starter or "microorganism" that I have feed almost every day for 4 years. Sweet Hazel is our gluten free hand made starter that was made with brown rice flour and H2O in December of 2020!
All of our sourdough loaves are vegan and dairy free with the exception of those with honey, which you can substitute for maple or coconut sugar! Our sweet infused loaves do contain coconut sugar. We also offer a gluten free sourdough that is delicious minus the gluten! All loaves are also soy and egg free.

Yes, For the Love of Sourdough is an approved Arizona cottage food business through the Department of Health Services Registration #17407. We are only allowed to service customers in the State of Arizona. I currently hold a valid Food Handlers Certification. We are also a registered LLC.

Pick up days are Fridays or Saturdays here at the Dough House! All orders will need to be submitted by 12pm on pickup week. You can always see out bake schedule for pickup on the homepage. Everything is made to order fresh. That means we bake it the morning or evening before your pickup day just for you! Nothing sits on a shelf.
Typically, I do not have any extra loaves on hand unless I am having a market stall at the Dough House. You can always reach out to see if I have anything available!
We are located in the community of Golden Hills, which is inside the Arizona Golf Resort in Mesa, Arizona. Our major crossroads are Power and Southern. Come stop by and say hello!
